He graduated in Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), having worked as an intern at the Public Defender’s Office of the State of Rio de Janeiro under the brilliant Public Defender Ana Maria Mauro. Additionally, he was an intern at the law firm Lobo & Ibeas in the tax and corporate areas. Already as a lawyer, he became an assistant to his father, Antonio Evaristo de Moraes Filho, one of Brazil’s most outstanding criminal lawyers.
In parallel to his criminal law practice, he has also worked with Sports Law, becoming Vice-President for Fluminense Football Club. In addition, through Evaristo de Moraes Law Firm, he has rendered services to this institution in the criminal and sports areas. He also, for years, acted as president of the Sports Tribunal for Basketball in the State of Rio de Janeiro.
